General Squad Information

HEALTH

  • It is the swimmers responsilbility to ensure they arrive prepared and in a fit state to train.
  • Injuries and illness should be reported to the coach prior to the start of each session. The strictess of confidentiality will be maintained.

EQUIPMENT

  • Swimmers are required to provide their own training equipment which includes a pair of fins clearly marked with the childs name.
  • Goggles and  a swim cap are also highly reccommended.
  • Please see the coach for any extra equipment your child may need for their squad.

PUNCTUALITY

  • Starting time is important and allows the coach to fully explain the session and have adequate time for feedback and stroke correction. Please collect your child after the session. No children under 10 years of age are permitted to remain unattended at the centre.

COACH CONTACT

  • If you need to speak to a coach during a session please make conversations brief. Roz can be contacted by phone at other times of the day. Please leave your contact details at the front reception.

COMPETITIVE SWIMMING

  • Moller Swimming provides professional coaching services. The Cronulla Swim Club is the competitive Swim Club based at Caringbah Leisure centre. If your child would like to compete in club nights, Area (METSEA) meets and other inter-club competitions, they will need to become a member of the Cronulla Swim Club.
  • The club holds club race nights and a BBQ every friday night throughout summer from 6.30pm and one saturday afternoon at 3pm, per month in winter. You are welcome to come and try a club meet before you join. Please see the club website for more information www.cronullaswimclub.com.au
